1oz American Silver Eagle Coins – Backdated – in Original Sealed from the Mint Box of 500
The 1oz American Silver Eagle is the most popular silver bullion coin in the world. Each coin contains 1 troy ounce of .999 fine silver, and has a face value of $1 USD backed by the US Government.
To maintain their newly minted condition, coins are preserved in their original sealed tubes.
The obverse (heads) of this coin features Adolph A. Weinman’s full–length figure of Liberty in full stride, enveloped in folds of the American flag, with her right hand extended in an inviting manner and branches of laurel and oak in her left. A representation of the abundance of hope and opportunities that the US holds for those that go there.
The reverse (tails) features a heraldic eagle with shield, created by John M. Mercanti. With an olive branch in the right talon and arrows in the left. This side also confirms the weight of 1 ounce of fine silver and the face value of One Dollar.
The 1oz silver eagle design is based on Adolph A. Weinman’s 1916 “Walking Liberty” half dollar, widely considered one of the most beautiful American coins ever minted. As a result the silver eagle is often referred to as a “silver dollar”.
NOTE: These are backdated coins so could be any past year. The value and quality of backdated coins still maintain its tremendous quality for investors. These coins come in the original sealed from the mint boxes.
Note: Direct from the Mint – dispatch in around 3 weeks.
