Silver Rockets Higher

Check out the table above. Silver is up nearly 10% from a week ago! Regardless of whether it’s priced in NZ or US Dollars.

That makes it look like gold has been asleep even though gold is still up over 3%.

The NZ Dollar is not much changed from a week ago. It rose strongly, making a comeback after the Brexit vote, but over the past 2 days has dropped back sharply. So end result is that it has not had much bearing on local gold and silver prices from last week.

Gold and Silver Chartfest

Our email today will be very short as we’ve got a feature article on the website which looks at a whole bunch charts including local NZ gold and silver charts, both short term and long term.

So there doesn’t seem much point in reprinting them here since that article (Gold And Silver Chartfest) was just posted earlier today.

The article has a comparison between August 2015 and today of various topics including:

  • Shares versus Gold Ratio
  • Gold to Silver Ratio
  • Housing to Gold Ratio
  • Gold and silver prices
  • Gold Mining Shares to Gold Ratio

Plus some thoughts on where to from here.

Then finally, an interesting video “Silver Fireworks”, that examines the significance of the rise in silver the past week. Particularly the timing of it. It also has a close look at the Gold Silver ratio and how this performs both during and after various crises.

So just scroll down now to check out these articles.
