NZD Gold Holding Steady
Gold in NZ Dollars is up just under half a percent this week. Solely due to the weaker NZ Dollar (more on that soon in this weeks feature article). NZD gold now sits right on the 50 day moving average and has managed to stay above the support line at around $1860. While NZD silver is down a sliver on last week. But still holding just under the 200 day MA.
NZ Dollar Drops Below 6 Month Support Line
As already noted the big mover this week has been the New Zealand dollar. It has clearly broken down below the horizontal trading range that it has been in for the past 6 months. The Kiwi now sits just above the 0.66 line. But given it has broken through this support line that has held for so long, the odds look to favour even lower prices ahead. Possibly 0.65 or 0.64 before too long.
