Re Ask a question.
How is it that the price of a 1oz PAMP Gold Lady Fortuna Minted Bar – PAMP Suisse with Certificate is consistently worth less than a Canadian Gold Maple coin? Both are 1 ounce and 9999 pure.
Wraped in plastic thereby avoiding damage, and with the Swiss reputation historically as the world’s bankers I would have thought the pamp would be the one to command a premium.
Cheers Gary

i belong to a NZ coin group and there is a big push on buying the old silver coins. Would it be better guarantee to buy the minted coins from places like this or buy from FB groups and build a bit of a stock pile that way
Hi Gordy, I guess it depends what your aim is in buying the older coins and how they are priced? If they are more collectible type coins, then the odds are the premiums above spot price could be way higher than just a bullion coin like those we sell. You also have the issue of confirming the authenticity/purity when buying privately too. That said you may be able to get a good deal if the seller is not so well informed. But that might not be so easy to do if buying from a FB group of knowledgeable people.
When our money is digitalised and every purchase we make gets tracked, will we be stopped from buying gold and silver?
